Forever Plaid: Plaid Tidings

Plaid Tidings posterDon will be, once again, returning to the Circa ’21 stage for their winter musical.  Forever Plaid: Plaid Tidings is the sequel to the hit show, Forever Plaid.  The story revolves around the 4 ghostly members of a singing group who were struck down just before they reached their prime. In Forever Plaid, these 4 young men returned to Earth years after their tragic, yet laughable, death to give the concert they never got to perform in life.  Having fulfilled their harmonious mission they returned to heaven, where they should have stayed for all eternity… So why have they been sent back to Earth again?

Come and see Don play the role of Jinx (the very shy and nervous member of the singing group) in this hilarious and heartwarming show! Forever Plaid: Plaid Tidings will be playing during the months of November and December.  Previews are on the 10th and 11th of November.  Opening night is November 12th, and it will run through December 31st.

“Spelling Bee” Opens

Post Playhouse now has all four shows of their summer season up and running. The final show of the season, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, opened last weekend. Audiences at Fort Robinson were shocked at just how funny a stage show can be. The summer season will continue through August 15th.

Wizard of Oz Opens

The Wizard of Oz opened at the Post Playhouse on Fort Robinson over this last weekend.  The opening weekend numbers were great, including a sold-out Sunday matinée.  See www.postplayhouse.com for show dates and times.  This one is perfect for the whole family.

Pump Boys and Dinettes Opens

Last night marked the opening of the first of four shows playing this summer at the Post Playhouse in Nebraska.  Pump Boys and Dinettes thrilled its impressively vocal first audience.  The playhouse started its season a full week earlier than it ever has in the past and still managed to gather an impressive number of patrons.  ”Pump Boys” will run for the rest of the summer along with The Wizard of Oz, Nunsense, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (the last of which will open by July 9th).
